Dean Smith’s immaculate first contact was arguably the spotlight of the primary half between Aston Villa and Man Metropolis on Wednesday night.
The Villa boss was watching his workforce play for the primary time in virtually three weeks resulting from a coronavirus outbreak on the Midlands membership.
And so they had been taking over an in-form Man Metropolis aspect who had gained their final eight matches in all competitions.
In a goalless first-half, the highlight was on Smith when he brilliantly managed Tyrone Mings’ misplaced cross within the 42nd minute.
